S231 – Transatlantic ship like any other but seen from above
$209,22
This is a work from the ‘Bagatel Lino’s’ series. It consists of ten different groups and has a total of 55 linoleum cuts. This engraving is one from group four and is indicated in the Breda Catalog with the sentence: ‘without suspicion shiny intermezzo.’
This work was created between the June and August 1952 in Chacras de Coria (Argentina). Next to the signature there is also something written in French, (making this work unique) but we can’t decipher it. Delhez’s handwriting is often unreadable. It looks like it’s the title of the work, but we’re not sure about that.
