Though the hero has given his word of allegiance to the king’s daughter, he feels his foot slip off the escarpment leading to Poltarnees, the wonder city, and takes one last look at the Inlands where he will never return.
This work was made in Cocaraya (Bolivia) between the 22st of July 1935 and the 19th of February 1936.
