DD22 – Wild boar and dogs
$830,83
The head of the wild boar is the same as the boar pictured on S55 in the assortment series, and the dog can also be seen on it. The head and body of the dogs come from the Dobermann Pincher, Axel of Delhez, which he got from his good friend Rodolfo Araoz Alfaro, in whose country house in Totoral he made many of his works. Sketches were made of the dog’s body (when he was alive, of course.) and that’s how they ended up in this engraving.
This work was made in Chacras de Coria (Argentina) between the 7th of February and the 18th of May 1948.
