A black road leads to the horizon, an endless row of skulls. Two plus two equals four and from that the rest eventually follows., the atomic bomb going over the Pythagorean theorem, the formulas of Newton and Einstein, etc… All this can be seen next to the tree of science from which an apple falls . The bridge over the road of science is represented by a mammoth. On the left we see an almost dead city full of art.
This work was made in Chacras de Coria (Argentina) between the 20th of December 1948 and the 14th of March 1949.
