The Microscherzina series is a series consisting of seven works (S258 to S264) in a small format, but exceptional for Delhez’s works, all in color. It is sometimes said that this is the continuation of the Bagatel-Lino series, but without thinking about polemics. Delhez always maintained that he cannot imagine what led him to make this series.
This work is a special one. It has two works of the Microscherzina series in one passe-partout, the fifth and the seventh in the series. Microscherzina V was created between the 3th of September 1954 and the 18th of March 1956 and Microscherzina VII between the 5th of September 1954 and the 19th of March 1956, both in Chacras de Coria (Argentina).
There’re small traces of glue on the passe-partout but those are invisible when the work is framed. The works itself are not damaged at all.
