The Microscherzina series is a series consisting of seven works (S258 to S264) in a small format, but exceptional for Delhez’s works, all in color. It is sometimes said that this is the continuation of the Bagatel-Lino series, but without thinking about polemics. Delhez always maintained that he cannot imagine what led him to make this series.
This work is the sixth in the series and was created between the 4th of September 1954 and the 18th of March 1956 in Chacras de Coria (Argentina). There’re glue parts around the work, but those are not visible when the work is framed. Still we don’t ask the same price as for the other ones in this series.
