B2 – L’ Albatros
$472,99
“…Vastes oiseaux des mers, qui suivent indolents compagnons de voyage. Le navire glissant sur les gouffres amers”
The second engraving in the Les Fleurs Du Mal series. This is probably the only deeply poetic engraving in the series. The reason is understandable, the poet is the albatross. This engraving must literally defend itself mainly because of the intensity of the insight.
This work belongs to the first series of five called ‘Spleen et Idéal’. There’re glue parts on the left, right and on top + small damage on the paper just below the title. These damages are invisible when the work is framed but still we’re not asking the regular price like we do for other works from this series.
