A dead parched rat on a petrified steam bomb detonation column chains its tail with the rat on another column shooting a kilometer further out of its crater. The landscape is ash white, everything has burned out or rather ‘melted out’.
This work was made in Chacras de Coria (Argentina) between the 24th of October 1945 and the 9th of January 1946.
