E62 – Common prayer
$874,80
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew XVIII, 19 – 20)
In this engraving we see a representation of four different ways of praying and, although different, yet deeply united. Jesus addresses a community of persons, so it is not about a number here. Two are united in his name, and between them he appears, unites and fraternizes. For this reason it is called the common prayer. Christ appears here as a blazing flame, drawing people and landscape to himself.
