“Suddenly enraged, she took him by the hair and dragged him on.” The engravings in this series can be called quite modernistic, although they are illustrations. Modernism is never the main issue in these works, Delhez only wanted to find out to what extent modernism is applicable to Dostoyevski without the author and his work suffering from it.
This work was made in Chacras de Coria (Argentina) between the 22nd of October 1945 and the 24th of February 1946.
