“After watching the scene, Svidrigailov withdrew indifferently.” Delhez said in response to this engraving that it is sufficiently refutable not to approach the miserable circumstances in Dostoyevsky’s stories and the atmosphere around them any closer. After finishing the engraving, there is always something left unspoken, he said.
This work was made in Chacras de Coria (Argentina) between the 28th of August 1946 and the 1st of January 1947.
ATTENTION : There’re small traces of glue at the left and right side of this engraving. Therefore we don’t ask the price we normally ask for the engravings in this series.
