The 52th engraving in the Les Fleurs Du Mal series. With this work, Delhez especially demonstrates the disproportionality between the small sculptor and the giant idol. (“Et nous démolirons mainte armature avant de contempler la grande Créature”)

This work belongs to the fourth series of five called ‘La mort’.

ATTENTION : There are small glue parts at the right and the paper at the bottom is slightly damaged, but can be fixed when you put the work in a frame. Due this small damage we don’t ask the price we normally ask for works in this series.
