E4 – Message to Joseph

“But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew I, 20)
Joseph, as if absorbed in sad reflection, sleeps in his humble surroundings. The angel bends over him, but does not appear in the dream like the shepherds who needed the view, this angel sees in the depths.
This work was made in Cocaraya (Bolivia) between the 10th of February and the 2nd of April 1934.
