E92 – Noli me tangere
$1.049,55
“Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (John XX, 17)
One hand of Christ blesses, the other repels, defending itself. Mary Magdalene’s hands also speak their own language. Two angels are seen in the opening of the tomb. The appearance of Jesus is signified by the barely noticeable hint of the horizontal lines of heaven that characterize the sad dawn. It is also striking that Jesus seems to float noticeably, but without actually leaving the ground.
