Sortiment Series

The sortiment (assortment) series is a series with all kinds of engravings Delhez made between 1934 and 1952. Many were made during Delhez’s years in Bolivia but also after he arrived in Chacras de Coria.

This series contains several subseries like the Torbellinos (Study without aid), Stone, Habitantes de Chacras de Coria (People from Chacras de Coria), Architecture et nostalgie (Architecture and nostalgia) and the Microscherzino series, one of the few works where Delhez used colour in his engravings.

In the Breda catalog the works in this series are all numbered with an S-number, so we also use the S-number here. For most engravings in this series there will be additional information available on the product page of the engraving itself.
